Threads of the Blind Empress

Aya Ren

Empress Aya has not opened her eyes since the coronation. She sews the empire’s decrees into cloth, and the cloth sometimes refuses a stitch. What the thread will not sew, the court is not allowed to do. The chronicle ends when she chooses a last knot.
